The authorities of the unrecognized Transnistria announced the introduction of rolling blackouts. There are also reports of emergency power outages.
The Ministry of Economic Development of the so-called “PMR” reported this.
The department stated that the outages would begin on January 3 due to electricity consumption exceeding production. They also published a schedule of outages for Tiraspol, Rybnitsa, Bender and several villages. Residents were warned that due to the technological process, the time for turning off and on electricity could increase to 30 minutes.
Recall that the unrecognized Transnistria is stopping the work of industrial enterprises.
