Doctors of the Cosmonaut Training Center assessed as “normal” the state of actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko, who arrived at the International Space Station the day before. The head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin announced this in his Telegram channel.
On October 5, actress Yulia Peresild and director Klim Shipenko arrived on the ISS to shoot a feature film with the tentative title “Challenge”. The film crew is to return to Earth on October 17, accompanied by cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky. Roscosmos, Channel One and the Yellow, Black and White studio are involved in the creation of the film.
At the same time, a former teacher of the Cosmonaut Training Center, a friend of Yuri Gagarin, who was preparing him for the first flight into space in history, retired Air Force Colonel Valentin Petrov said that the actress and director “had to prepare longer.” The veteran of cosmonautics noted that “no one will let the film group die for sure,” but problems with adaptation are provided for them.
According to Rogozin, a communication session with the crew has already been held.
“Based on the results, the CTC doctors assess the condition of the space flight participants as normal, no deviations, no emergency situations, they are working according to plan,” he wrote.
Also, the head of Roscosmos published a photo of Yulia Peresild, soaring in zero gravity and smiling, calling the picture “pure positive”.
