Roscosmos General Director Dmitry Rogozin said on the air of the Echo of Moscow radio station that the issue of Russia's continued participation in the International Space Station (ISS) project will be resolved in the next few months.
He also noted that there are currently three space powers. In addition to Russia, these include the United States and China. At the same time, the head of Roscosmos stressed that the Russian space industry is the absolute leader in the field of rocket and propulsion construction. Despite the sanctions, the United States is forced to buy Russian engines, Rogozin added.
Earlier it became known that Rogozin will discuss the prospects for extending the operation of the ISS with the head of NASA Bill Nelson. According to the Deputy Head of the State Corporation for International Cooperation Sergei Savelyev, the meeting will be held in Dubai in October during the Astronautical Congress.
