The state corporation “Roskosmos” is postponing the testing of rocket engines, since over the past three months it has been transferring almost all of the oxygen produced to medical institutions. Such a statement on Sunday, August 29, was made by the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin.
“For three months now, we have been transferring almost all of the oxygen produced by our enterprises to medical institutions, forcing it to postpone the testing of rocket engines. We understand that the situation with the covid is difficult, so we help as much as we can, ”Rogozin wrote on Twitter.
We will remind, on the eve of the Russian government allocated 650 million rubles for the purchase of oxygen concentrators for hospitals in 20 Russian regions. This was announced by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, noting that in the context of the spread of coronavirus infection, the need of medical organizations for oxygen has increased.
