Dmitry Rogozin, General Director of the Roscosmos State Corporation, invited Elon Musk to tea. The head of the department noted that he respects the head of SpaceX as an inventor and organizer of the space industry. Rogozin said this in an interview with CNN.
The head of Roscosmos stressed that Musk has implemented ideas that the Russian space agency would like to implement. According to him, the collapse of the Soviet Union prevented this, stopping the development of the space program for some time.
Dmitry Rogozin also expressed a desire to discuss a number of specialized topics with Elon Musk. Among the proposed topics were the study of the Universe, extraterrestrial life and the use of space for the preservation of life on Earth. For this, the head of Roscosmos invited the American engineer to visit.
