Rogozin commented on the appearance of the drilled hole on board the ISS
Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin commented on the appearance of a drilled hole in the skin of the Russian Soyuz MS-09 spacecraft on the ISS in 2018.
During the broadcast on the YouTube channel of the radio station Echo of Moscow, Rogozin noted that the truth about the reason for the appearance of this hole could damage relations in space.
When asked whether it was really a “medical story”, the head of the state corporation gave a laconic answer.
“Well, yes, but it is better not to comment, because this will damage bilateral relations,” he said.
We will remind that earlier the assistant to the head of NASA for manned flights Katie Leaders said that the American side rejects the assumptions about psychological problems that prompted astronaut Serena Aunyon-Chancellor to drill a hole in the Soyuz.
On the eve, Rogozin also said that the state corporation does not accuse Aunyon-Chancellor of drilling a hole in a spacecraft.
Earlier, Roskosmos also sent to the Russian government the decision of the Scientific and Technical Council on the creation of a national orbital station.
