Roscosmos is ready to provide expert assistance to the United States in eliminating problems with the engine of the Starliner spacecraft, said the head of the state corporation Dmitry Rogozin.

“As far as the ISS support program is concerned, we confirm our readiness to provide expert support to our American colleagues. The Keldysh Center, the leading scientific institute of the Russian rocket engine building, in case of a request from the American side, is ready to send its specialists to the US to the Starliner ship development company, ”Rogozin said.

So the head of Roscosmos responded to Boeing's message that the corporation will return Starliner to the plant to fix problems with valves.

The CST-100 Starliner is a next-generation space capsule that can accommodate up to four people. It is designed for scientific research in orbit. The spacecraft can be used up to 10 times with a six-month turnaround time.

The launch of the ship was scheduled for August 2, but in the end it had to be postponed indefinitely due to engine malfunction.
