Rock musician Boris Grebenshchikov called the “shame of Russia” who started the war against Ukraine: video

by alex

The 68-year-old artist considers Russian aggression to be insanity.

Rock musician from Russian St. Petersburg Boris Grebenshchikov expressed his attitude to the devastating war, which was launched on the territory of Ukraine by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

On Monday, February 28, he posted a video to this effect on his Facebook page.

“The war between Russia and Ukraine is crazy. And the people who unleashed it are the shame of Russia, ”the 68-year-old veteran of the rock scene says in a short video.

A little earlier, the musician published a post on the social network with a similar text on behalf of the Aquarium group, whose permanent leader Boris Grebenshchikov has been for 50 years.

In just a few hours, this video has collected almost 20 thousand likes and more than a thousand comments. In particular, Ukrainians actively leave their comments under this post, mainly with words of gratitude for Grebenshchikov's position. Some, however, reproach Boris Borisovich for the excessive softness of his statements.

“Our guys are stopping Russian tanks with their bare hands, and you are afraid of policemen with batons,” they write in the comments about the sluggish anti-war protests in Russia, which are easily dispersed by riot police.

The obvious positive of this post on the social network is that the author does not censor them. Thus, Russian readers of Boris Grebenshchikov's page have the opportunity to find out the true state of affairs in the war between Russia and Ukraine – about the bombardment of Ukrainian cities that suffered among the civilian population and the losses suffered by the Russian army.

Unfortunately, recently Facebook has been working slowly in the Russian Federation due to the restrictions applied by Roskomnadzor. The Russian regulatory body introduced them because Facebook banned Russian state-owned propaganda outlets from advertising and monetizing on the platform.
