ROC: any measures against LGBT propaganda aimed at children should be welcomed

The head of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeyev) of Volokolamsk, criticized the American streaming service Netflix for LGBT propaganda in films and TV series. He announced this in the TV show “Church and Peace” on the channel “Russia 24”.
The representative of the Russian Orthodox Church said that LGBT content is present in films and TV shows aimed at young people. As an example, he cited the TV series “Elite” about the life of students in a private school in Spain. “Any measures aimed at keeping children from such influence should be welcomed. But foreign companies, of course, will not agree to this, ”he said.
Earlier, the Metropolitan said that he has a subscription to Netflix and in his free time he watches serials on it. Of his favorite streaming projects, he remembered the movie “Two Dads”. He also noted the quality work on the TV series “The Crown”, which tells about the fate of the British royal family.
