As a result of the accident, two Ukrainians received minor injuries.

The Consulate General of Ukraine in the Polish city of Lublin provides consular assistance to Ukrainians injured in an accident involving a bus with Ukrainian registration.

As reported by TSN.ua Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko, as a result of an accident, two Ukrainians received minor injuries.

“There is no threat to their lives. They are provided with the necessary medical care,” he informed.

In total, there were 26 citizens of Ukraine on the bus that had an accident in Wisznica, Lublin Voivodeship.

According to Oleg Nikolenko, other passengers were placed in a temporary waiting area. The carrier has already provided another bus that will take our citizens to Ukraine.

“Investigative actions have begun. The Ukrainian consulate is interacting with Polish law enforcement officers to clarify all the circumstances of the accident, and also monitors the treatment of the injured people,” said the Foreign Ministry spokesman.

Recall that an examination showed that the driver of the bus involved in an accident in the Lublin region of Poland was sober. However, the police believe that the man may have violated the speed limit.
