Rise of coronavirus cases recorded in Turkey
In Turkey, there is a sharp complication of the epidemiological situation, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.
“In Turkey, a sharp complication of the situation has been recorded, since mid-March there has been an increase in the number of registered cases of new coronavirus infection by more than 40%, that is, a fairly intensive, explosive growth,” Popova said.
According to her, the situation in Turkey is similar to that in the UK at the end of last year. Then several countries had to suspend communication. At the same time, Popova noted that Rospotrebnadzor keeps the situation under special control.
Earlier, Popova said that 81 cases of infection with the British strain of coronavirus were detected in Russia. The South African mutation was reported in six patients.
