Four more European countries decided to transfer lethal weapons, including anti-tank grenade launchers, to the Ukrainian military.
Oleg Nikolenko, representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
According to him, Finland for the first time in its history provides weapons. The country will give our military 2,500 automatic rifles, 150,000 rounds of ammunition, 1,500 disposable RPGs and 70,000 food kits.
Sweden will provide military aid for the first time since 1939. The Swedish government will provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with 5,000 anti-tank weapons, 5,000 body armor, 5,000 helmets and 135,000 field rations.
Norway decided to transfer 2,000 anti-tank grenade launchers to Ukraine.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will also receive anti-tank weapons from Luxembourg .
Austria will soon send helmets, protective vests and fuel.
Earlier it was reported that the Australian government will allocate about $70 million for the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
