Konstantin Blokhin, a leading researcher at the Center for Security Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), revealed the possible consequences of a hypothetical nuclear war between Russia and Great Britain. The expert's commentary is quoted by Radio Sputnik.
“It is clear that a nuclear war with a country like Russia is likely to be the last in the history of mankind,” Blokhin said.
According to him, the current plans of Great Britain are “an indicator of the beginning of an arms race, their task is to impose this race on us and China in order to pull off the same trick as with the Soviet Union: to try to bankrupt us, supplement it with sanctions pressure and total demonization.”
Thus, Blokhin commented on the data on the British strategy of defense and foreign policy for the next 30 years, suggesting an increase in the nuclear potential of the monarchy, published earlier in March.
In the same month, General Richard Dannath, who headed the General Staff of the British Armed Forces (AF) in 2006-2009, announced that the fifth generation F-35B Lightning II short take-off and vertical landing fighter was devastating the country's Ministry of Defense.
