More than ten Muscovites were injured and burned from pyrotechnics on New Year's Eve

Residents of Moscow were massively injured and burned due to careless handling of pyrotechnic items on New Year's Eve. This was reported on Saturday, January 1, to Interfax by a source familiar with the situation.
According to him, more than ten people suffered from firecrackers, fireworks and other pyrotechnics in different districts of Moscow, their condition is assessed as satisfactory or moderate. Some were hospitalized.
On December 29 of last year, master pyrotechnician Igor Alekseev said that fireworks should not be bought in an underground passage, it is better to use a specialized licensed store for these purposes. He also noted that it is important to securely fix the packaging on the ground when launching, because the most dangerous situation arises when the fireworks topple over.
