Resident of the United States indicted for threats against Biden
A US resident was charged with threats against US President Joe Biden, the man was taken into custody, RIA Novosti reports, citing the country's Ministry of Justice.
Detained 27-year-old North Carolina resident David Kyle Reeves. On February 11, the man was brought to trial.
It is clarified that Reeves several times contacted the White House by phone and threatened the US President and others. The man was then contacted by a Secret Service agent to discuss threatening calls. Reeves continued to threaten the President, the Secret Service agent and others. To this end, he also called the Capitol police.
Note that accusations of threats against the US President can be punished with a prison term of 5 years and a fine of up to $ 250,000.
