Research by a team of scientists from Spain and Canada will help narrow the range of drugs for COVID-19. Such an assessment was made by David Naimzada, a researcher at the Laboratory for Analysis of Population Health Indicators and Digitalization of Health Care at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Izvestia quoted him as saying.
Previously, it was reported about studies according to which the survival rate of coronavirus depends on specific antibodies. Researchers from Spain and Canada tried to identify the key factor in determining the degree of risk of death and paid attention to the level of specific antibodies, the total amount of antigens and the amount of viral RNA in the blood.
“Such refinements help narrow down the indications for the use of antibody drugs and make them more accessible and effective in situations where they should be used,” the researcher said about possible simplification of treatment.
Earlier, transplant professor Mikhail Kaabak, who saved hundreds of children, urged to refuse organ transplants to patients without coronavirus vaccination, as was done in the state of Colorado, USA.
