There was speculation for weeks, now it's finally fixed: David Alaba will continue his career at Real Madrid. At least that's what “Sky” reported.
The Austrian soccer star is said to have agreed on a five-year contract with the Spanish top club. The signature is still pending, but should follow soon. Just like the official announcement, it said.
Real has been the favorite for the 28-year-old's engagement in recent weeks. Alaba advisor Pini Zahavi had previously canceled Sheikh Club Paris St.-Germain, English top clubs (Liverpool, Chelsea) are said to have withdrawn due to the Viennese's high wage demands.
Spain has always been Alaba's dream destination. The financially troubled FC Barcelona had not been able to bid in poker for the ÖFB star.
