A group of scientists from the University of Miami examined whether the fears of many people about possible infertility after vaccination against covid are justified.
They examined the semen of volunteers before vaccination and 70 days after (participants in the experiment were vaccinated with Moderna and Pfizer / BioNTech vaccines). There were no negative changes in its quantity and quality. Moreover, the number of active spermatozoa in some of the volunteers increased: however, scientists do not associate this with vaccination either.
The study is published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
