On Saturday, December 25, the US Embassy issued a statement in honor of the thirtieth anniversary of America's official recognition of Ukraine as an independent and sovereign state.
As noted in the Foreign Ministry, relations between our countries are now stronger than ever.
– Today we celebrate 30 years since the United States officially recognized Ukraine as independent and a sovereign state. Relations between the United States and Ukraine are stronger than ever, as we work together to ensure Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and create a prosperous, democratic and Euro-Atlantic future for Ukraine.
