Refugees from Ukraine will be provided with free apartments in Poland

by alex

In Poland, free apartments will be provided to refugees from Ukraine. European funds have already allocated several million zlotys for this.

A temporary residence center for refugees from Ukraine will be created in the Polish city of Zamostye in the Lublin Voivodeship, which is planned to open at the end of next year. Accommodation here for refugees from Ukraine will be free.

This is reported by the Our Poland portal.

It is noted that the Zamostye project received funds from EU funds. About 5 million zlotys were allocated as part of the Lubelskie pomaga Ukrainie (“Lyubelshchyna helps Ukraine”) initiative.

For the arrangement of 10 temporary apartments for Ukrainians, a room was allocated that used to be a voivodeship medical space. The building will be overhauled and a specialized center will be created where Ukrainian refugees will be able to stay until the end of hostilities on the territory of Ukraine.

Up to 40 people will live in 10 apartments, mostly women with children. The cell will also include, among other things, a children's playroom, a laundry room with a dryer, a common room, professional psychologist's, lawyer's and translator's offices.

Recall that Ukraine will join the EU roaming free zone. This was stated by the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, during the annual address “On the State of the Union” in the European Parliament.
