Referees are often the focus not only in Austria, but also in Denmark. In the second division there was now a remarkable scene.
On Sunday Vendsyssel FF and FC Federicia parted in the second Danish league with a 1-1 draw. More exciting than the result, however, is an action by referee Nils Heer.
When the score was 1-0, an attacker from the guests ran towards the goalkeeper alone. However, he was called off by the referee. Premature, because actually he should have let the game run and decided to take advantage.
Heer noticed immediately that he had made a wrong decision, sank to the floor, covered his face with his hands in shame. The players reacted in surprise, but subsequently cheered the referee on.
Happy ending: Federica managed to equalize a little later. Here you can see the curious scene:
