In the Chernivtsi region, at the Porubne checkpoint, border guards detained a resident of Kiev who pretended to be his wife in order to avoid conscription and leave Ukraine.
A 30-year-old resident of the capital, who pretended to be a resident of the Odessa region and tried to go abroad with a minor child, was detained on March 13 in the evening. He even received a bouquet of tulips at the border.
The border guards found the pseudo-woman during passport control. The husband at the border control provided other people's documents, namely his wife's passport and documents for the child.
However, an experienced border guard inspector, having carefully checked the appearance of the “woman” and the photo in the document, found that the documents belong to another person.
Now the man will have to answer according to the law, because the border guards sent messages to the police on the grounds of a crime under Art. 336 of the Criminal Code – Draft evasion for mobilization, and also brought a man to administrative responsibility for attempting to illegally cross the border.
On March 12, Ukrainian border guards detained a 53-year-old man who was trying to get away from the war to Moldova. The documents of the fugitive said that he was on commission due to a difficult birth.
