A woman died in the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Clinical Hospital, who was injured in a fire in a hospital in Kosovo.
According to the Department of Civil Protection of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, the woman born in 1985 was a medical worker in the hospital.
She died from her injuries (90% of body burns), which she received as a result of a fire in Kosovo Central Regional Hospital.
In the evening of December 28, a fire broke out in Kosovo in the ward of the intensive care unit of the regional hospital. According to the State Emergency Service, a fire broke out on the first floor of a medical facility.
That evening, four people died, and three more medical workers received burns to their bodies.
According to the State Emergency Service, on the eve of the tragic event, five oxygen concentrators were simultaneously operating in the intensive care ward, due to which the air was supersaturated with oxygen.

Rescuers suggest that the fire could break out due to contact with the air, which was oversaturated with oxygen. But the investigation continues.
