Dictator Bashar al-Assad's troops retreated under pressure from suppliers.

Syrian forces opposing the regime of dictator Bashar al-Assad have completely taken control of one of the country's largest cities Aleppo.

This is reported by Alarabiya News.

The forces of dictator Assad, supported by Iran and Russia, were unable to hold the city and retreated from it after a rapid offensive by rebel forces.

It is reported that the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) movement and allied opposition forces control the city of Aleppo, with the exception of areas controlled by Kurdish forces.

In addition to the city itself, the rebels took control of the city's airport, as well as nearby territories.

In turn, Syrian and Russian aircraft carried out a series of strikes on Sunday in support of Assad's troops. As a result of these strikes in Aleppo, 12 people were killed.

Also, as a result of Russian strikes, 8 civilians were killed in Idlib, including two children and a woman.

Recall that it was previously reported that rebels in Syria captured Assad's residence and the office of Russian advisers.

In addition, we previously reported that Putin miscalculated and is looking for ways to support Bashar al-Assad.
