Real Madrid will donate €1 million to IDPs from Ukraine. Overall, the UNHCR private sector has already committed $200 million.
Real Madrid Football Club is donating funds to the All with Ukraine campaign, which was launched by the Real Madrid Foundation on March 5 to help meet the humanitarian needs of refugees from Ukraine together with other international organizations.
< p>According to the message of the Spanish club, the assistance will be sent to the Red Cross and UNHCR, as well as to the Foundation's partner in Ukraine, the public organization Epicenter for Children.
This assistance will be sent to Chernivtsi, Krivoy Rog , Odessa, Lviv, Kiev, Dnipropetrovsk and Zhytomyr regions.
Real recalled that it has been working with the organization Epicenter for Children since 2018 in seven social and sports schools in Ternopil, Irpin, Khmelnitsky and Kyiv. The program now helps 800 children.
