Real is stepping up: Mbappé's move almost fixed

Los Blancos want to put down at least 170 million for the French striker. Is Ronaldo coming to Paris now?

According to media reports, the French football club Paris Saint-Germain has accepted Real Madrid's improved offer for Kylian Mbappe. According to the French newspaper “L'Equipe”, PSG are now ready to negotiate the transfer of the striker. The change of the French world champion should therefore be imminent.

The British broadcaster “Sky Sports” and other media reported on Thursday without mentioning sources that Real should have increased its offer to 170 million euros. However, there is also speculation that 180 million euros including bonuses were offered. PSG rejected a first offer from Madrid in the amount of 160 million euros on Wednesday. There was initially no comment from Real or Paris on the reports.

It would be the second most expensive transfer in history – after Neymar's move from Barcelona to PSG in 2017 (€ 222m) and before the Mbappé transfer from Monaco to PSG (€ 145m).

No Ronaldo

PSG will not guide Cristiano Ronaldo to Paris, because the Portuguese should land at Manchester City.
