In the Brazilian city of Sao Jose do Belmonte, a shooting occurred right in the courtroom. There, during a hearing, a man opened fire on his father's alleged killer.

During the trial, an enraged man pulled out a gun and shot the defendant. The terrible incident was still on November 29, 2023, but only in early April the media released footage from CCTV cameras in the courtroom. 60~strong>six shots in Francisco Claydivaldo Mariano de Moura, who was accused of killing his father. The attacker was then chased by police who arrested him on the spot on suspicion of attempted murder. After the shooting, De Moura was taken to a local hospital. The man was subsequently released and remains at large, with no retrial date set yet.

Terto was arrested at the scene and taken to jail. According to him, de Moura shot his father October 5, 2012 while he was looking for a donkey that had wandered off his property.

When De Moura found Alves on his farm, an argument arose between them, which ended in murder. Alves was taken to hospital, where he died 18 days after being shot. De Moura fled to Salgueiro, where he was arrested.
