On Friday, February 16, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and French President Emmanuel Macron will sign a bilateral agreement on security guarantees.

— We are ready to stand side by side with the Ukrainians so that Russia loses the war, — Macron said at a press conference in Paris.

As part of the agreement, France will contribute 6 billion euros to Ukraine's defense capabilities, President Macron added.

Recall that on the evening of February 16, Zelensky arrived in Paris to sign a bilateral agreement on security guarantees with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Before his visit to Paris, Zelensky visited Berlin, where, together with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, he signed a bilateral agreement on security cooperation in continuation of the G7 declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine.
