Leipzig's Sabitzer was exchanged for Bremen in the 74th minute

RB Leipzig moved into the final of the German Soccer Cup on Friday. The Saxons celebrated a 2-1 win after extra time against Werder Bremen. The final opponent will be determined on Saturday in a duel between Borussia Dortmund and second division Holstein Kiel.

Match winner for Leipzig was ex-Salzburg Hwang Hee-chan. The substitute South Korean shot his team in the lead after a goalless 90 minutes in extra time (93rd). After Leonardo Bittencourt equalized (105th), Hwang prepared the winning goal for RB by Emil Forsberg (121st).

In the case of the winners, Marcel Sabitzer was replaced in the 74th minute, Konrad Laimer was a substitute – as was Romano Schmid on the other side. Marco Friedl was absent from Bremen due to a pelvic injury.
