Razer Opus X headphones get active noise cancellation and low latency

by alex

American manufacturer of gaming computers and peripherals – Razer – has unveiled its new fully wireless headphones – Opus X. This is a full-size, closed-type, overhead model, which is based on large custom 40mm drivers capable of reproducing frequencies in the range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

It is possible to customize the sound using a proprietary mobile application, an active noise cancellation (ANC) system with support for “transparent” mode and a proprietary gaming mode that reduces signal latency to 60 ms. Headphones can be synchronized with a smartphone or computer via Bluetooth 5.0. The manufacturer promised an autonomy of 40 hours without active noise cancellation and up to 30 hours with ANC.

The earbuds are finished in nylon and recycled leather. The Razer Opus X weighs 270 grams. There are four built-in microphones – two each for active noise canceling and voice calls. And last week, Elon Musk unveiled the fastest production car in history, the Tesla Model S Plaid.
