According to the publication, the 1990 cartridge for the Nintendo Entertainment System (better known in Russia under the Dendy brand) was sold in sealed original packaging. It is considered rare: the word Bros. the title is formatted to the left, so it began to cover part of the protagonist's glove in the image.
Bidding for the lot started at 62.5 thousand dollars. 20 participants in the auction fought for it, thanks to which the final cost broke the previous record of 114 thousand dollars (8.7 million rubles). It also belonged to an Italian plumbing game cartridge, but that lot was from 1985.
Earlier in Belgium, a pigeon, which occupied the leading places in bird races, was sold at an auction. The buyer laid out $ 1.9 million (145 million rubles) for him. A two-year-old bird named New Kim was put up for sale by retired pigeon trainer Gaston Van De Vuver from the Belgian province of Antwerp. The 76-year-old man's health deteriorated, so he stopped racing and decided to sell all of his 400 birds.
