The deal is through! Sergio Ramos was officially introduced as a new signing from Paris St.-Germain on Thursday. Before that, there was a strange glitch.
It was an open secret that the 35-year-old will join the Parisian Sheikh Club. His brother and advisor Rene Ramos was last in the French capital, and the Spanish team player passed his medical check-up.
Ramos signed a two-year contract, should collect around 15 million euros net. The captain's contract with Real Madrid expired at the end of June. So Ramos is coming to Paris for free.
Even before the official announcement, there was a strange Ramos breakdown on Wednesday evening. It had already been announced on the French homepage that Ramos would receive jersey number 4. Although there wasn't even a notification of execution.
