The Omicron COVID mutation is spreading around the world.
Sweden and Norway increase quarantine restrictions due to new outbreaks of coronavirus.
This was reported in TSN.Rank on December 8.
If the Swedes will soon have to mention social distance and masks on public transport, masks are only recommended for Norwegians. At the same time, the number of guests who can be received in a private house will be limited to ten. In addition, the time for the sale of alcohol in bars and restaurants is shortened.
Meanwhile, the new COVID strain “Omicron” is spreading more and more around the world. It has already been found in 57 countries. The mutation is considered more contagious than previous strains. However, WHO experts, who have studied two hundred European cases of the disease, console them: these patients are ill with Omicron asymptomatically or with mild illness.
As reported, the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen called on the European Union to discuss issues of compulsory vaccination against coronavirus for all citizens, with the exception of people with contraindications. An exception will be people with special health conditions that do not allow vaccination.
