Countries are trying to moderate a new wave of the pandemic.

England and Denmark are increasing quarantine restrictions amid the spread of the COVID Omicron strain.

This was reported in TSN. Ranok December 9.

The country is forced to return to the so-called “B” plan to contain a new wave of the pandemic. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the situation leaves him no choice. That is why, starting from December 10, the obligatory mask regime in closed public places is returning to England. In addition, starting next Monday, some workers will switch to teleworking. In nightclubs and places with a large crowd of people in this part of the UK, only COVID certificates will be allowed.

Denmark is also introducing additional restrictions on the new strain. There, starting from December 15, they will close primary schools, restrict the work of bars and restaurants and ban most public events, including Christmas parties.

Meanwhile, Austria has been canceling the Vienna Ball for the second year. It should take place on February 24 next year. However, the Austrian government decided that under the current circumstances, such an event would be inappropriate.

As reported, Sweden and Norway are tightening quarantine restrictions due for new outbreaks of coronavirus. If the Swedes will soon have to mention social distance and masks in public transport, the Norwegians are only recommended masks.
