Quarantine extended in Germany

by alex

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has extended tough restrictions to combat the spread of coronavirus until April 18. This is reported by Frankfurter Rundschau.

The isolation regime will be strengthened during the Easter period – from 1 to 5 April. Religious meetings for Easter will be held online.

In February, the head of the Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine of Germany, Gernot Marx, said that the coronavirus pandemic could be brought under control in the fall of 2021. “If now it turns out to soon vaccinate all residents, then perhaps we will take control of the situation with the coronavirus at the end of the third quarter of 2021,” said the German specialist.
