У невестки эмира Катара в поезде в Париж украли ценный багаж

A noble lady noticed the theft of 11 luxury brand Hermès bags.

Eleven luxury bags belonging to the daughter-in-law of the Emir of Qatar, whose name has not been disclosed, were stolen from a train connecting Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) with Paris. The luggage contained “very valuable personal items.”

This was reported on Sunday, July 28, by Le Parisien, citing police sources.

The crime occurred the day before, on July 27. The daughter-in-law of the Emir of Qatar, accompanied by her domestic worker, boarded a train at the station in Cannes. The train, traveling from Nice, was supposed to reach the Lyon station in Paris.

Between 12:00 and 13:40, she noticed that 11 bags from the luxury brand Hermès were missing.

The train was stopped and delayed for about twenty minutes at the Toulon (Var) station to conduct an investigation. But neither the bags nor the thieves were found immediately.

The railway company said that they are not responsible for loss or theft.

“It is the sole responsibility of the traveller to look after their luggage,” the company said.

Recall that in France, several hours before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, sabotage occurred on the SNCF high-speed train. Therefore, the operator suspended service in most of the country.
