Ядерные угрозы Путина: в Литве жестко отреагировали и предостерегли Запад от губительной позиции

Red lines should be drawn not for the West, but for Putin.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said that ” The rattling of nuclear weapons with which the Kremlin dictator is trying to intimidate the world is just a bluff.

LRT writes about this.

“He will gain nothing from this, but lose everything. Some countries are on his side, or so he thinks. China clearly supports Russia, global partners in Latin America and Africa are also more likely to side with Putin. But if threats will become reality, the entire partnership will disappear “in the blink of an eye,” said the Lithuanian minister.

Landsbergis noted that red lines should be drawn not for the West, but for Putin. The minister also added that the “avoidance of escalation” position that some countries have taken could be disastrous.

“This path, if we follow our strategy, leads to the destruction of the country. It could lead to a real conflict outside of Ukraine, other countries could be involved in it. Because we are sending a very clear signal to Putin: if you threaten us, we retreat,” the head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry warned.

Recall that the political scientist explained why almost no one reacts to Putin’s nuclear threats. Taras Berezovets noted that Russia's attempts to obtain nuclear weapons have already reached the point of absurdity.
