The head of the World Holocaust Forum Vyacheslav Moshe Kantor, who was previously called the “ace in the deck” of Russian President Vladimir Putin, was in the top five of the list of the most influential Jews in the world. RIA Novosti reports about it with reference to the message of the European Jewish Congress (EEK).
The list was compiled in Israel on the eve of the new year according to the Jewish religious calendar. “The list was compiled by the Israeli Ynet. The publication notes the key role of Kantor in organizing the Fifth World Holocaust Forum – the largest event in Israel before the pandemic, which took place at the Yad Vashem memorial complex in Jerusalem in January this year, ”the EJC told the agency.
The list also includes Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, son-in-law and senior adviser to US President Donald Trump Jared Kushner, and businessman and billionaire Sylvan Adams.
In January, Jędrzej Bielecki, a journalist for the Polish publication Rzeczpospolita and a Paris University alumnus, said that Kantor is Vladimir Putin's “ace in the pack”. According to him, Kantor, who owns the Akron group of agrochemical enterprises, can freely develop his business in Russia, providing “special services” to the Kremlin.
