Russian President Vladimir Putin wrote a letter to the Syrian girl Iman Ali, which was delivered to the addressee on New Year's Eve by the servicemen of the Russian armed forces in Syria, RIA Novosti writes.
As the head of state specified in his reply message, her letter was reminded of sincerity and love. It became “a real gift on the eve of the New Year holidays.” Putin believes that Ali does not think like a child, but like a “true patriot” of his country.
“Even if such fragile but brave children as you are ready to become soldiers and nurses for the sake of peace and security in their land, it will be easier for all of us to resist evil and various threats,” Putin said. He congratulated the girl on the upcoming New Year and wished her, family, loved ones prosperity, peace and fulfillment of desires. “Let every day be filled with smiles, joy and happiness,” the politician wrote.
After the delivery of the letter from the Russian leader, Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden came to Ali, who also wished her a Happy New Year. The girl was invited to the Khmeimim military base to a special medical unit.
Prior to this, a resident of Latakia wrote a letter to Putin in which she said that she dreams of becoming a military doctor.
Earlier, Putin fulfilled the wish of a 13-year-old schoolgirl Tatiana Trotsenko from Stavropol, who dreamed of getting to the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg for Swan Lake.
