Russian President Vladimir Putin will answer journalists' questions during a large annual press conference. It will be held on Thursday, December 23, and will begin at 12:00 Moscow time, reports TASS.
This time the event will be held in face-to-face format. According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the Moscow Manege has been chosen as the venue for the annual conference.
The presidential press secretary specified that the conference will be attended by 507 media employees, including media-foreign agents, whose status does not affect the work. They will be able to freely ask questions to the head of state.
Last year's press conference of Vladimir Putin took place on December 17 and became the 16th in a row. It took place via video link due to the coronavirus pandemic and was partially aligned with a straight line. The broadcast lasted four hours and 29 minutes. For the first time, the format of communication with journalists was tested 20 years ago – in 2001.
