Propagandists claim that Putin is counting on “negotiations with Western leaders.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin next week intends to take part in the virtual G20 summit organized by India on November 22.
This was reported by the propaganda TV channel “Russia-1”, reports the tabloid Bild.
The Russians said that the dictator, thanks to his online presence, “will be able to talk to Western leaders for the first time in a long time.”
In September, Russia was represented by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the G20 summit in New Delhi. It became known in advance that the next summit would be virtual, but until now it was not clear who would participate on the Russian side.
Next week, Putin will also visit Minsk, where the “CSTO event” will continue. Then the head of the Kremlin will receive Tajik President Emomali Rahmon in Moscow.
Let us recall that in 2022, one of the most important meetings within the G20 took place between US President Joe Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping. Biden and Xi then spoke about relations between countries and the importance of their role in solving global problems.
Also last year at the G20 in Indonesia there was a scandal with the Russian delegation. Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko said: “Let’s sit down at the negotiating table on the platform of the parliamentary twenty.” Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Elena Kondratyuk then replied, “We don’t talk to criminals.”
