Putin wants to draw Pridnestrovie into war with Ukraine, but the authorities of the republic are going to “wind through” – expert

The Russians want to force the authorities of Pridnestrovie to enter the war with Ukraine, however, the unrecognized Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic itself does not want to open a second front and only verbally supports Russia.

The authorities of the unrecognized republic are striving to maintain the current status quo, which allows a certain group of people to earn super profits, have Moldovan passports and at the same time be considered the backbone of the Kremlin in the region.

This was stated by journalist and political expert Vadim Denisenko.

“The Russians want to force the Pridnestrovian authorities to enter the war and drive the PMR army to Bessarabia. Yes, indeed, they want to force it, because the Pridnestrovian authorities want to screw up, as Lukashenka did in his time,” Denisenko wrote on his Facebook.

According to him, the army of the PMR itself has only about 10-11 thousand soldiers and about 3 thousand Russian troops. However, there are up to 8,000 de facto fighting men in the republic.

“This is Putin's last reserve, which can be introduced without announcing mobilization in the Russian Federation itself, which he categorically does not want to do yet,” Denisenko said.

At the same time, the leadership itself and the inhabitants of the PMR do not want to participate in the war. Proof of this are the long queues at the administrative border with the territories controlled by Chisinau. The expert says that all these people are already running away from mobilization today.

“Therefore, the “hand-wringing” will begin now. Its result can now be assessed as 60:40 in favor of Pridnestrovie's entry into the war. Although the situation will change every day,” the expert says.

He is convinced that Moldova is afraid to open a second front, so it is playing for time.

“Several European countries play a key role in Moldova's decision: will they want to” fit in” for Moldova and give Chisinau certain guarantees. But today's statements by the President of Moldova are a desire to play for time,” Denisenko stressed.

The politician also noted that Lavrov's recent statements about nuclear weapons and the third world war, in In particular, they are dictated precisely by the Pridnestrovian aggravation.

Recall that on April 25, Foreign Minister of the aggressor country Sergei Lavrov said that the risk of nuclear war is real, so this danger should not be underestimated.
