Putin to visit Gagarin's landing site on Cosmonautics Day

Russian President Vladimir Putin on April 12, Cosmonautics Day, will visit the museum complex at the landing site of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin in the city of Engels in the Saratov Region. He will also hold a videoconference meeting on the development of the space industry in Russia.

– Sixty years from the date of Gagarin's space flight is a very important date for our entire country. This is Cosmonautics Day, the day of our national pride, and, of course, the President cannot ignore this day. He will fly to Engels and visit the landing site of Gagarin, there is a modest museum complex there, Putin will visit it, – said the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
