Putin Threatens US Over Missile Deployment in Germany

Moscow promises "mirror events"

Russia will not comply with the moratorium on the deployment of intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles (INF) if the United States deploys its missiles in Germany.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this, as quoted by Russian propaganda media.

“If the United States of America implements such plans, we will be considered free from the previously taken unilateral moratorium on the deployment of medium- and shorter-range strike systems, including increasing the capabilities of the coastal forces of our navy,” he said.

He also claims that the development of several medium- and shorter-range strike systems is almost complete.

Recall that against the backdrop of intelligence information about Russia's interest in anti-satellite weapons and satellite launches from China, the United States is preparing for a space war.
