Russian President Vladimir Putin reacted to the victory of Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev in the Final Tournament of the Association of Professional Tennis Players (ATP). The telegram was published on the Kremlin website.
Putin congratulated Medvedev on his victory and wished him new sports victories. “You brilliantly, in one breath, covered the entire distance of the final tournament, demonstrated excellent training and fighting character in beautiful fights, continued the traditions of the national tennis school with your victory,” the president wrote.
