Путин пытается сформировать альтернативу НАТО: аналитики выяснили, о каких странах идет речь

The dictator is looking for support.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is seeking to create a coalition of countries to try to position the union as a real alternative to NATO. We are talking about countries that have historically warm ties with the USSR.

This was reported by the Institute for the Study of War.

In particular, Putin used the celebration of Navy Day to try to form an anti-Western coalition from a number of Asian and Middle Eastern countries.

Ships from the Chinese, Algerian and Indian navies took part in the parade in St. Petersburg. At the same time, there were significantly more representatives of countries present – 31 states, including Azerbaijan, Venezuela, Vietnam, Cuba, Libya, Myanmar, Syria, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and the countries of South Africa.

“Russia has recently stepped up cooperation with a number of these states, including Venezuela, Cuba, India and Vietnam,” the experts add.

Recall that the Servant of the People deputies proposed that partner countries conclude a specific agreement that could ensure Ukraine's complete security until NATO accepts the state into its ranks.
