Russian President Vladimir Putin, during negotiations with American leader Joe Biden, proposed to nullify all existing restrictions on the functioning of embassies. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Kremlin.
It is noted that this step could serve to normalize other aspects of relations between Moscow and Washington.
