Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Alexander Abelin from the post of Assistant Secretary of the Security Council. The corresponding decree was published on the official portal of legal information.
The reason for Abelin's dismissal is unknown.
Alexander Abelin has served as Assistant Secretary of the Russian Security Council since December 2016. He was awarded the Order of Honor, the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 1st Class, the Medal for Merit in Conducting the All-Russian Population Census, as well as certificates of honor of the President of Russia.
