Putin has reportedly become one of the few foreign guests attending the Olympics in China. The Presidents of Tajikistan, Egypt and Kazakhstan are also present, in particular.
It should be noted that the leaders of Western countries announced a boycott of the Olympics because of the Chinese government’s harassment of the Uighur ethnic group.
