Minister of Foreign Affairs Czech Republic Jan Lipavsky responded to the desire of some Western European politicians to agree on a cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, even at the cost of its territorial concessions to the aggressor country.

In particular, the head of the department rejected the statement French President Emmanuel Macron that Russia, led by Vladimir Putin, cannot be humiliated.

“Russia is an aggressor, and we should not take into account either humiliation or humiliation. Macron is probably not very good understands the issue, Putin does not care how Russia is perceived in the West,” Minister Ceske Noviny is quoted as saying.

Lipovsky added that arms supplies to Ukraine are supported the security of the Czech Republic against Russian expansionist intentions lives on.

“We can store weapons in a warehouse here or they can help in Ukraine,” the minister said.

He added that larger and well-equipped EU countries such as Germany could be more active in supplying weapons to Ukraine.

Recall, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that French President Emmanuel Macron's attempts to find some kind of diplomatic outlet for Kremlin head Vladimir Putin in vain.

The head of state stressed that Ukraine will not cede territory in order to “save face to Putin”.

The Prime Minister of Poland also said that >Putin should be isolated, not “save his face”, and the ideology of the “Russian world” should be destroyed.
